welcome to the shattered dreams, a once upon a time au rpg site that takes place in fictional storybrooke maine. i know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.

one please please respect both the admins and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, i'm sure everyone would like shattered dreams to be a fun and friendly place, not a living hell.

two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to first & last names. for example: Ava Quincy. this just makes things all neat and tidy.

three before you even consider roleplaying, please post your application and wait to be accepted. whoa, wait, before you protest, it's short and easy. relax.

four here at shattered dreams, we do believe in a word count. mainly because tanya and the other plays need something to play off of and this is her site. so all we ask is that you try to match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with. that's not too much to ask is it? and i don't think our word count is that high.


five one thing that drives us crazy is god modding. please please don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it, please please please.

six almost done, sorry about this. please do not stretch the board, either with your signatures or posts. avatars should be no bigger then 200x319 and graphics should not be any bigger then 450x250. tanya has spent a while making this site pretty and would kill you if you ruined it now.

seven most of all just because we have a sub plot for some of the characters does not mean that, that sub plot has to stay the way we made wrote it. if you want a character that is not taken but has a sub plot, and you are not happy with that sub plot, pm tanya or one of the other admins with your own plot idea for the character and we can talk about it. we are open to any ideas and want you to be happy with the character you chose to play and most of all we want you to enjoy the site had have fun, so please never be afraid to pm belle or one of the other admins if you have ideas for the site or any questions at all.

eight now for the dreaded chat box rules yes we have these because we don't want any problems in the chat box there are not the many of them and we just ask that you read and respect them.

nine finally shattered dreams is a pg13 site. we have had to agree proboards terms and conditions state that you should be over thirteen to sign up. so you should be able to handle any what happens on here. if not, don't join, simple.
